About Me

I’m a Law graduate from the London School of Economics with a Master’s in Law from BPP University. Along the way, I achieved A*A*A*A at A-Level (Maths, English Language & Literature, Law, and an EPQ) and top grades at GCSE. Fortunately, as a result, I am very flexible in terms of subject offering.

I have nearly two years of tutoring experience, working both one-to-one and in group settings at Kumon (a tuition centre), where I helped students of different ages and abilities build confidence and achieve their goals. This experience taught me how to adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs—whether that’s breaking down tricky concepts, keeping lessons engaging, or helping with exam technique.

Students describe me as patient, approachable, and enthusiastic. I understand that every learner is different, so I take the time to listen and tailor my approach to bring out the best in each student. Tutoring for me isn’t just about getting the right answer—it’s about building understanding, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of learning.

I’m passionate about education and dedicated to helping my students reach their full potential, whatever their starting point.

My teaching style

My teaching style is proactive, adaptable, and supportive.

I try to gauge what the student would like to cover beforehand so as not to waste precious tutoring time and be completely prepared.

I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on tailoring lessons to their needs—breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps.

I encourage questions, build confidence through positive feedback, and make learning engaging so students feel comfortable stretching themselves.

I am a firm believer in developing exam technique alongside learning concepts and so place great emphasis on building this over time whilst learning content so as to aptly prep students for exams.

Whether preparing for exams or consolidating key skills, I aim to combine structure with flexibility, ensuring students not only achieve results but also develop long-term confidence in their abilities.

My past experience

I have tutored online in the past for a short stint. I have also tutored for nearly 2 years at Kumon, a tuition centre, in one of the most disadvantaged areas in the country.

My Proudest Achievements

One of my proudest achievements is earning an Upper Second Class Honours Law degree at LSE, a highly competitive course that demanded resilience, discipline, and strong analytical skills. Studying there taught me how to tackle challenging material with focus, adapt my approach when something didn’t click right away, and communicate complex ideas clearly. These skills directly shape how I tutor—I know how to break down difficult topics, encourage perseverance, and help students feel confident in their own abilities, no matter the starting point.
