My name is Aaryush Batra, and I am a second-year medical student studying at University College London (UCL). I applied for this tutoring role with great enthusiasm, as I am passionate about helping students excel academically.
I have a strong academic background, having achieved 12 grade 9s at GCSE and 5 A*s at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and German, along with an EPQ.
My experience and skills enable me to tutor a range of subjects, including Maths, Biology, Chemistry, as well as preparing students for the 11+, 13+, and UCAT entrance exams. I also used to teach BMAT. I achieved 3380 in my UCAT (top 1%) and 17.8A in my BMAT (top 3%).
I aim to support students in building their confidence and mastering challenging concepts through tailored and engaging lessons. My strong work ethic and dedication to academic success make me a reliable and committed tutor, eager to help others achieve their best.
My teaching style
My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and student-focused. I aim to create a supportive learning environment by breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable parts. I tailor my approach to each student’s needs, using clear explanations, practice questions, and interactive methods to build confidence and mastery.
My past experience
Yes, I have over 4 years of tutoring experience. I’ve worked with MyTutor and RightTrackServices, as well as privately tutoring students. This experience has allowed me to develop effective teaching strategies tailored to each student’s needs, helping them achieve their academic goals across various subjects.
