Estelle
About Me
Hello! My name is Estelle, and I’m a passionate and patient tutor with over five years of experience helping students reach their full potential. I specialise in supporting learners from primary school to A-Level, with a focus on English, History, Philosophy and general study skills. I’m currently training as a solicitor apprentice at an international law firm, and I also volunteer at a legal clinic and lead outreach projects for young people — so I understand how to break down complex topics and make them engaging and easy to understand.
My approach is friendly, confidence-building, and tailored to each student’s learning style. Whether you’re aiming to boost your grades, prep for exams, or just need a little extra encouragement, I’m here to help you feel capable and supported every step of the way. Let’s work together to turn your goals into achievements!
My teaching style
My teaching style is supportive, interactive, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. I focus on building confidence through clear explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance. I encourage active learning by asking questions, using visual aids, and making sure students feel comfortable to express when they’re confused. I aim to create a calm, focused space where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow. Whether you prefer structured lessons or a more flexible approach, I adapt to your pace and learning style so we can make real, lasting progress together.
My past experience
Yes, I’ve been tutoring for over five years, supporting students from primary school up to A-Level in subjects like English, History, and general study skills. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, including those preparing for exams, catching up on missed content, or needing extra encouragement with confidence and focus. My experience also includes volunteering in schools and mentoring younger students through academic and personal development. These roles have helped me become adaptable, empathetic, and skilled at explaining tricky concepts in a way that makes sense and sticks.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is always trying to make my goals happen, no matter the obstacles. I’ve stayed positive, optimistic, and brave throughout every challenge — even when things felt uncertain or difficult. Whether it was applying for competitive opportunities, balancing work and study, or pushing myself out of my comfort zone, I’ve learned how to keep going with faith, focus, and resilience. I’m proud of the fact that I don’t give up easily and that I keep showing up for my goals with determination and a hopeful mindset.
