About Me

As a dedicated tutor and teaching assistant, I have experience working with students one-on-one, which allows me to tailor my approach to each individual’s needs. I focus on making learning engaging and enjoyable through a variety of activities. I’m highly organized, creating customized lesson plans and regularly tracking student progress to ensure they’re meeting their goals. My aim is to help students not only achieve academic success but also to foster a genuine love for learning that will benefit them throughout their lives.

I’m pretty organised when it comes to lesson planning. I create plans that are specific to each student’s needs and goals, and I keep track of how they’re doing. It’s important to me that students not only do well in school but also genuinely enjoy learning. I try to create a space where they feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. My main aim is to help them understand the material and develop good study habits so they can succeed now and in the future.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower students to not just learn, but to thrive in all their academic endeavours.

My teaching style

I find that the demonstration method is a helpful way to learn. It lets you see how something works, which is better than just reading about it. You can watch someone do a task and see the steps involved. This helps you understand the skill more clearly.

My Proudest Achievements

Wings of Hope Fundraising Project
I fundraised for underprivileged children who cannot attain an education. This required planned coordination, and as a team we
communicated regularly. Communicating my charity to everyone required me to be persuasive and encouraging, further expanding my
motivating skills, which is essential in classrooms. One of the events that I organised was a henna event, in which people were able to
donate money in exchange for a cultural service that is less accessible in the UK. I successfully identified the limited service of henna in
my local area to reach my fundraising goal effectively, this innovative thinking is important as a tutor.
