Michelle
About Me
Hi! My name is Michelle, and I am currently studying Graduate Entry Medicine at the University of Warwick, after achieving a First Class degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Surrey. In my first application cycle, I received 4 interviews and 3 offers for Medicine (Warwick, King’s College London, and Barts and the London), supported by a UCAT score of 3400 on my first attempt. Academically, I achieved A*AA at A level and seven 9s and three 8s at GCSE.
My goal as a tutor is to work closely with each student to bring out their full potential—whether that means achieving top grades, building confidence for interviews, or securing university offers. I aim to create a supportive and tailored learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated to succeed.
Please feel free to get in touch – I would love to support you on your journey!
My teaching style
My teaching style is student-centred and adaptable. I like to start by identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then break topics down into clear, manageable steps. I focus on building understanding rather than rote memorisation, using examples, questions, and active discussion to make sure concepts really “click.” I also place a strong emphasis on exam and interview technique, helping students apply their knowledge confidently under pressure. Above all, I aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to achieve their personal goals.
