Shadia
About Me
Hello! My name is Shadia and I am currently a student at the University of Cambridge studying Geography. I have been tutoring for over 3 years and possess the strong academic background and flexible teaching style which will help produce the most successful results.
I am looking to teach English Literature and Geography from GCSE level to A Levels. Having just sat my own A levels I am very familiar with the course structure and can guide student on how best to approach their learning. I aim to provide a warm and positive atmosphere to promote their learning while also ensuring good communication so we can target the specific areas which the student may be finding particularly difficult. I hope to deliver truly engaging lessons to keep students interested and motivated to achieve their goals.
My teaching style
I have quite a flexible teaching style which depends both on the subject and the student’s needs. I like to understand what the student’s target areas are and work towards ensuring these are met whether that be through exam questions, comprehending content or anything else.
My past experience
I have been tutoring for the past 3 years, including both one to one sessions as well as group tuition. I am experienced in tutoring in both English and Geography at GCSE and A level, alongside Psychology in the latter. Along with this, I have had success in Oxbridge personal statement and interview preparations.
My Proudest Achievements
I think one of my proudest achievements is being the first person in my family to go to university especially with that university being Cambridge which has been a dream since childhood.
