3About Me
I am a fully qualified French native speaker with more than 30 years as a teacher of French, German and Spanish in various types of schools and colleges, a proven record of success backed by excellent references. I studied in France and obtained my PGCE in England before starting my career in an academy. Over time, I have acquired teaching experience in nursery schools, primary schools, colleges and universities. Therefore my learners have been aged from 4 to 92 years.
In my additional profession as a trainer for an education provider, I get observed regularly and have achieved a successful reputation within the company.
I have a clear DBS and a sharp sense of responsibilities.
I provide a reliable and friendly service and my attitude is punctual and caring. I also have a good sense of humour.
My teaching style
I have wide experience in teaching Languages to a variety of people of different backgrounds, ages and abilities, including ESOL and SEND individuals as I adapt easily and respond to clients’ needs, hence I go through exam revision, specific topics, general conversation, basic or advanced vocabulary, using the four skills, always depending on individual requirements. I offer face to face and online tuition, using platforms from agencies or online platforms and possess a multitude of Word and Power Point presentations. I pride myself to have enabled all my learners to have passed their exams with top marks.
My past experience
I have been teaching for decades and am still doing so as communicating language knowledge is a passion. Tutoring is particularly rewarding as some of my learners have missed out a lot due to Covid or inadequate or irregular lessons at school so I enable them to catch up and pass exams.
My Proudest Achievements
Getting my learners to higher their grades while in school and getting my online clients to achieve A’s, A*’s and 8 at their French, German and Spanish exams.
