The Study Mind Media & Journalism Work Experience was such a hands-on and engaging experience! I loved the video reporting session, where we learned how to script and film our own news reports. The industry day was amazing – seeing behind the scenes of a media company really opened my eyes to different career paths in media. I now feel much more confident about pursuing journalism at university!

This programme was perfect for anyone interested in both journalism and media. The podcasting session was my favourite – we got to record and edit our own segment, which was really fun. I also enjoyed the news writing workshop, where we analysed real headlines and wrote our own articles with professional feedback. It was such an immersive experience, and I now have a portfolio of work I can use for my future applications!

I really liked how varied this experience was – we covered everything from traditional news writing to social media content creation. The industry day was incredible, and getting to meet professionals working in TV and digital media made me even more excited about my career options. The final portfolio presentation was also a great way to showcase everything we had learned. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in media!
