My name is Shourya Sharma and I am a 3rd year medical student at Newcastle University. I am an international student from Malaysia and ethnically I am Indian. I am very excited to be a part of the Medic Mind team and have the opportunity to help students in their medical school application process. I can understand that the application process can be extremely difficult and daunting, however upon reflecting on the process, reading many resources and guides now upon completing 2 years of medical school I believe I have learnt about many tips and tricks of how to ace your interviews, how to streamline your application process and how to make into your dream medical schools! I believe I am a friendly, helpful and dedicated indvidual who will be there to support you guys in the required steps for medical school and will make personalised sessions for your teaching sessions!

Hello, my name is Areeba Salman and I am currently completing my MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Nottingham, having previously graduated with a BSc in Biotechnology. Alongside my academic journey, I have several years of tutoring experience, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English to students from KS1 through to A-levels, both in the classroom and online. I also have SEND teaching experience, which has taught me how to adapt my methods to meet different learning needs and support students in building confidence as well as knowledge.

My teaching style is supportive, patient, and tailored—I break down complex topics into simple steps, encourage interactive learning, and celebrate progress to keep students motivated. Many of my students have improved their grades significantly and gained places at top institutions. I am flexible with my availability and can teach during weekdays, evenings, or weekends depending on student needs. Hi, I’m Rajwinder Kaur! I love helping students grow in English, Maths, and Science. I’ve completed MSc degrees in Biotechnology and Biochemistry, and while I’ve done lab research, I enjoy making tricky concepts clear, accessible, and even fun to learn. I am passionate about helping students understand topics deeply, develop confidence, and enjoy the learning process.

I’ve taught students from KS1 to GCSE, including SEND learners and those working on Functional Skills. My lessons are personalised, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs, helping them build confidence, improve grades, and feel proud of their progress.

Learning isn’t always easy, so I make lessons friendly, interactive, and encouraging, giving students space to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop problem-solving skills. Seeing their “lightbulb moment” is my favorite part, and I’d love to help your child feel confident, motivated, and genuinely enjoy learning every step of the way!
