I am a first-year Land Economy student at the University of Cambridge, combining interests in economics, policy, and real-world data. Before Cambridge, I completed the IB Diploma with a score of 44/45, focusing on Economics, Mathematics, and research. I have worked on analytical projects with organisations such as Rosbank and VK, where I carried out market evaluations, behavioural-economics studies, and strategic proposals. My independent econometric research on climate adaptation was later published and presented internationally.
Teaching has been a consistent part of my academic journey. While leading the Economics Department at Priceless Education, I organised lessons, developed learning materials, and worked with students from different backgrounds. I enjoyed breaking down complex models into simple, visual explanations, guiding students through past papers, and helping them build confidence step by step. During international competitions—such as the Wharton Investment Competition—I mentored younger teammates through valuation, forecasting, and portfolio design, which naturally grew into a habit of supporting others in their learning.

My goal is to make learning engaging and achievable, while helping each student progress at their own pace and feel confident in the subjects we explore together.

I obtained a PhD in Economics. I have over 20 years of experience in teaching Economics, Statistics, and Maths online, having helped over 500 students. The level of the students I have helped includes GCSE, IB, A level, undergraduate and postgraduate.

Dr Michael was a Honorary Research Fellow of the Department of Economics at the Kingston University. He was also an Associate Professor of Finance at the Richmond American University London and Associate Lecturer of Economics and Statistics at the Open University. Dr Michael specializes in applied econometrics, quantitative finance and labour economics. He published books in economics and statistics, and academic articles in international journal. He was invited by the International University of Applied Sciences to develop a series of economics distance learning modules.

I have over 10 years teaching experience. I teach accountancy, finance, investment, tax, maths & statistics in A level graduate and post graduate level. In addition, I teach high profile professional exam students for ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT, CTA, ATT, CISI, IMC and CFA. I also teach portfolio management, wealth management, corporate finance, financial reporting, International finance, merger and acquisition, valuation, quantitative method, econometrics, equity investment, fixed income, alternative investment, risk management, derivatives and foreign exchange. In accountancy, I teach all subjects area which includes financial accounting, financial reporting, corporate reporting, management accounting, performance management, financial management including advanced financial management, audit and assurance, personal taxation, corporate taxation, capital gain tax, value added tax and inheritance tax. Moreover, I also teach GCSE and A level maths, statistics & accounting and cover all boards syllabus.
I have completed BSc (Honours) in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University. In addition, I have passed two high profile professional exams (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA and Chartered Financial Analyst CFA) in accounting, finance and investment sector.

My A-Levels in Mathematics (A*), Economics (A) and Physics (A) provided a strong foundation for me to study Economics at University College London. In my professional life, I completed CFA Level 1 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working at EY.
