The mathematics summer school was brilliant! Rather than lots of traditional lectures, we had a small tutorial and were given real-life problems to solve. The tutors were so knowledgeable and their feedback really helped me to think further about my answers and to challenge the rules. I really liked that we could choose what to learn, depending on our interests.
