I am Sameer Siddiqui, a quantitative researcher with five years of professional experience in Python engineering, data pipelines, and applied machine learning. Currently, I am pursuing my MSc in Quantitative Finance at the University of Glasgow, where I focus on stochastic calculus, derivatives pricing, portfolio theory, and quantitative optimisation. My background combines technical depth with financial expertise, having built and deployed 100+ real-time data pipelines, automated reporting systems, and machine learning models in Azure Kubernetes Service to improve efficiency and decision-making. I have also developed trading algorithms, backtested strategies, and conducted risk analysis, strengthening my foundation in financial engineering. I have over 25 years of experience as a teacher and course leader at a further education college in Leeds, northern England. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of subjects across ICT, Programming, and Games Development courses – in particular computer languages and game engines. I also have extensive experience in web programming, database development, and general computer skills instruction.
In recent years, I have played a key role in the development and delivery of the T Level Digital Software Development course, teaching Python, software design, and software testing. I have also developed new units for the Access to higher education course that are now used by colleges nationally.
My responsibilities have included providing pastoral support to students, managing courses, ensuring quality assurance and verification standards, designing curricula, and interviewing prospective staff and students.

I’m a Computer Science student at Heriot-Watt University with a strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning. In my spare time, I enjoy coding and exploring new tools, programming languages, and concepts within the field. With a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, I take pride in my ability to explain complex topics in a clear, approachable way that encourages students to grasp difficult concepts with ease.

As the older brother to twin brothers with autism, I’ve developed a high level of patience, empathy, and understanding, which I bring into my tutoring approach. My experience in caring for them has made me more attuned to different learning styles and able to communicate effectively with students who may have unique needs. As a tutor, I am committed to fostering a supportive and engaging environment where all students feel confident to ask questions, explore new ideas, and build a strong foundation in computer science. My name is Yashvi, and I am currently pursuing a BSc in AI and Data Science at Manchester Metropolitan University. I have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with experience across various subjects and academic levels. Currently, I work as a teacher at Impact Academies, where I lead and manage educational programs, helping students build a strong foundation in their subjects.

Previously, I worked at Balaji Group of Tuitions as a doubt facilitator, tutor, and manager, where I taught all commerce subjects and guided students through complex concepts. This role enhanced my ability to simplify difficult topics, personalize learning approaches, and mentor students effectively.

I am a first-year Land Economy student at the University of Cambridge, combining interests in economics, policy, and real-world data. Before Cambridge, I completed the IB Diploma with a score of 44/45, focusing on Economics, Mathematics, and research. I have worked on analytical projects with organisations such as Rosbank and VK, where I carried out market evaluations, behavioural-economics studies, and strategic proposals. My independent econometric research on climate adaptation was later published and presented internationally.
Teaching has been a consistent part of my academic journey. While leading the Economics Department at Priceless Education, I organised lessons, developed learning materials, and worked with students from different backgrounds. I enjoyed breaking down complex models into simple, visual explanations, guiding students through past papers, and helping them build confidence step by step. During international competitions—such as the Wharton Investment Competition—I mentored younger teammates through valuation, forecasting, and portfolio design, which naturally grew into a habit of supporting others in their learning.
