Hi, I’m Louis, I am currently studying Computer science at Uni and doing maths as a minor module. I am very passionate in STEM and I thoroughly enjoy the concept of learning and I try my best to show others the satisfaction you can get from learning something new. During my time in secondary school I have helped classmates or lower year students with any questions for exams, alongside going to extracurricular sessions to help people out.
I try my best to engage people in learning things and I understand sometimes it might seem a bit boring but it’s all worthwhile in the long run, so I attempt to get the best of both worlds by having fun while learning.
Commonly I find that students might simply lack confidence in learning, so I work to help those students gain the confidence to not be afraid of failure and to instead learn from it.

I recently graduated with a BSc Computer Science (Hons) degree with First Class Honors. I am currently interviewing with companies to find the right fit for me and have decided to become a tutor to teach people about computers. I am an extremely passionate individual when it comes to computing and have been programming for 5+ years. I generally work in Web development, AI and mobile development and also embedded systems to some extent which include ESP32 boards and Raspberry PI’s. I am currently working on my projects and would love to show them to you if you’re interested so you can learn more about my skills and how I can better suit you. Besides computers, I love playing sports mainly cricket and badminton. I like DJing even though I’m not very good at it and my friends hate the noise. I am planning to pursue a master’s in AI in the future.
I’m a Computer Science student at Heriot-Watt University with a strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning. In my spare time, I enjoy coding and exploring new tools, programming languages, and concepts within the field. With a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, I take pride in my ability to explain complex topics in a clear, approachable way that encourages students to grasp difficult concepts with ease.
As the older brother to twin brothers with autism, I’ve developed a high level of patience, empathy, and understanding, which I bring into my tutoring approach. My experience in caring for them has made me more attuned to different learning styles and able to communicate effectively with students who may have unique needs. As a tutor, I am committed to fostering a supportive and engaging environment where all students feel confident to ask questions, explore new ideas, and build a strong foundation in computer science. Whether a student is new to the subject or aiming to refine their skills, my goal is to help them achieve their learning objectives while making the process enjoyable and rewarding.
