Hello! My name is Hikari.
I have four years of overall teaching experience. After completing my master’s degree, I aspire to become a full-time teacher. During this time, I have taught a wide range of courses, including GCSE Economics, GCSE Business Studies, A/level Economics, A/level Business Studies, IELTS, phonics, Eiken, Business English, and conversation.
As soon as I graduated from school, many students approached me to tutor them in Economics and business studies. I then began tutoring A/Level and O/Level Economics and Business Studies. All of the students I’ve taught so far have excelled in their Edexcel and Cambridge exams. Last year, one of my students won the subject prize.
During my academic journey, I have had the opportunity to study Economics at both the GCSE and A-Level levels, following the curriculum offered by prestigious examination boards such as Cambridge and Edexcel. I enjoy teaching Business Studies mainly. My experience in Economics has been enriching and insightful, allowing me to develop a solid understanding of fundamental economic principles and concepts. I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise as a tutor. With a passion for teaching and a strong grasp of economic principles, I am well-equipped to guide students through the complexities of the subject. I worked as a full-time teacher at a reputable international school. In addition to full-time teaching, I spent nearly two years teaching volunteers, primarily Japanese students residing in Japan, as well as overseas communication and other skills. I have also earned three diplomas to provide my students with the greatest education possible. I continued to become a TEFL/TESOL certified teacher. Teaching has become my favorite place to share my knowledge and assist students in their growth.

Hi, My name is Mona. I am fluent in French and English, I have an MA from the University of St. Andrews in International Relations and an MSc in Infectious Diseases and Medicine from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I have been a professional tutor for 6 years. During this time, I have tutored pupils ranging in age from 5 to 30 years old, and have had particular success with helping them with a wide range of exams, including university applications (eg.University of St. Andrews, Cambridge, LSE and King’s College).

My past work experience include working for Amazon as an associate partner manager and for the CERN in Geneva in medical regulation. I enjoy supporting students of all ages, adapting my lesson plan to their needs and goals. Looking at past exams really help me in identifying gaps we can work on together and plan our lesson around them.

Hi, I’m Lahari, and I’m currently in my 2nd year of studying Economics and Management at the University of Oxford. I am at Jesus College and have taken Economics, Management and Finance modules in first year and have narrowed down to Strategic Management, Microeconomics, Organisational Behaviour, Macroeconomics, Quantitative Economics, Global Business History, Marketing, Economics of Developing Countries for my 2nd and 3rd Year modules. Outside of my degree, I am a First Aider and youth advocate for St John Ambulance and do a lot of voluntary work for them as well as having been a National EDI Chair for the organisation for 3 years. I love to play Badminton in my free time and enjoy Indian dancing (bharatanatyam & bollywood). I also do a lot of charity work – I have volunteer tutored with Coachbright for underprivileged kids as well as raising over £500 for Homelessness Oxfordshire. At GCSE I got all 8s & 9s with 6 Grade 9s (Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Physics, Computer Science, Spanish) and 4 Grade 8s .
