Hi everyone! I’m Vinu and I am currently reading Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Prior to Cambridge, I studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths at A-Level achieving three A stars and an A. I am a dedicated mentor with a love of helping others to succeed in their studies. I have 4+ years of tuition experience from GCSE, to A-Level and University/ Medicine Admissions. When it comes to tuition I appreciate the needs of each and every student are unique. I pride myself on my ability to tailor my approach to the level of the student I am working with, whether they are seeking a Level 9 in GCSE Science or an Oxbridge Medicine offer. I work at the pace of the student to ensure that they understand the content on a conceptual level, yet they are consistently being pushed to achieve the best outcome they possibly can in their studies. Hello 🙂 My name is Dr Howells, I have achieved several university degrees, and hold a PhD in Neurophysiology. I was an Associate Professor at the University of Cape Town, and now hold an Honorary Professorship with my alma mater, with my return to the UK. I returned to the UK to support an ageing parent, and this geographical change also permitted me to move out of academia into consulting, which I enjoy. But I have missed teaching, supporting student progress, and seeing them achieve their academic goals! This led me to serving as a supply teacher for a local secondary school, which I do enjoy, and has led me to taking up online tutoring roles.

I have always loved nature in all of its forms and always remain curious. This drove my undergraduate degree towards human physiology and psychology, which I completed through a remote university. My first degree led to opening the floodgates of wanting to seek more, and went on to complete a BSc(Med)Hons degree in Physiology, then registered for an MSc which was upgraded due to progress made, and completed my PhD. My PhD led to the production of 5 peer-reviewed publications. I then went on to complete 4 years postdoctoral research and climbed the academic ranks to Associate Professor.

As newly qualified pharmacist, I am deeply committed to helping pre-registration trainee pharmacists achieve their goal of becoming fully qualified professionals. I understand that the journey to passing the GPhC registration exam is both challenging and demanding, which is why I offer specialised tutoring that covers all the critical areas you need to succeed: clinical and over-the-counter knowledge, pharmacy law, and mathematical calculations.

As a clinical Pharmacist, I continue to apply my expertise in a clinical setting, ensuring that I remain at the forefront of current practices and developments in pharmacy.

In addition to my clinical achievements, I have also made significant academic contributions. I graduated with First Class Honours in my Master of Pharmacy degree.

Hi I’m AJ, a Foundation Year 3 doctor with a love for teaching!

I am currently working part-time in the NHS as a locum doctor, anticipating starting GP training this upcoming August.

I live and work in the London area, always looking to spread scientific knowledge and advice through teaching medical & work experience students.

In 2021, myself and a colleague held an online teaching series over 8 weeks, with pre and post teaching questionnaires to try create the most effective e-teaching programme. This helped students gain access to regular, interactive teaching during a time where it was less available. The exam results and feedback were full of positive reflections and we felt very rewarded to provide support during a time of social distancing and reduced face to face learning opportunities.

I am currently a student on the Graduate Entry Medicine course at King’s College London, based in Portsmouth. I was previously employed at a Fortune 100 company as a Compliance Analyst, having graduated from UCL with a Human Sciences BSc. Travelling is a passion of mine and I try to visit at least a few new countries every year. I have travelled through almost all of Latin America and have been to over 40 countries now. My love for sport extends to rugby, football, athletics, martial arts and powerlifting. I am currently a Muay Thai fighter and have played rugby, powerlifted and competed in high jump all to a high level. Politics and activism are also incredibly interesting to me: I wrote a successful petition to my former school requesting that they change the curriculum to introduce a greater representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, including the creation of an anti-racist culture within the school, amongst other issues.

Dr Naila is a dedicated and results-driven researcher with a PhD (thesis submitted) in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow and over seven years of experience in research, teaching, and academic mentoring. Her core expertise lies in the domain of cybersecurity, with particular emphasis on data privacy, threat modeling, expert systems, logical reasoning, and artificial intelligence. She has successfully led and contributed to innovative projects aimed at advancing cutting-edge technologies to protect sensitive data in autonomous and complex systems. Known for her exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, Naila thrives in collaborative environments and excels in fostering teamwork and communication. Her research interests extend to data protection regulations, complex systems modeling, and human-computer interaction, with a keen focus on bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications to address pressing challenges in technology and security.
