Hi, My name is Mona. I am fluent in French and English, I have an MA from the University of St. Andrews in International Relations and an MSc in Infectious Diseases and Medicine from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I have been a professional tutor for 6 years. During this time, I have tutored pupils ranging in age from 5 to 30 years old, and have had particular success with helping them with a wide range of exams, including university applications (eg.University of St. Andrews, Cambridge, LSE and King’s College).

My past work experience include working for Amazon as an associate partner manager and for the CERN in Geneva in medical regulation. I enjoy supporting students of all ages, adapting my lesson plan to their needs and goals. Looking at past exams really help me in identifying gaps we can work on together and plan our lesson around them.

Hi there! My name is Omar, and beyond textbooks and lab coats, I hold a deep passion for empowering individuals through education. Currently, I juggle two hats: a dedicated pharmacy student and a freelance private tutor. This unique experience allows me to bridge the gap between academics and personalized learning, ensuring each student I teach has access to a clear path toward their goals.

My journey as a tutor began in 2018, fueled by a spark of inspiration. A young kindergarten student, brimming with potential yet struggling with phonics, presented a captivating challenge. Witnessing his initial hesitancy and subsequent transformation into a confident reader and writer solidified my belief in the power of individualized learning. Over a summer filled with engaging games, creative storytelling, and tailored exercises, we unlocked his literacy skills, laying the foundation for his future academic success.

This experience proved transformative, not just for my student but for me. It ignited a fire within me, propelling me to pursue tutoring with renewed passion. My current focus lies on guiding high school students through the often-daunting preparation for the SAT and ACT exams. Witnessing their anxieties and seeing them blossom into confident test-takers fuels my dedication. I tailor my approach to each student’s unique learning style and address their individual weaknesses, creating a supportive and results-oriented environment.

But my classroom transcends rigid structures and rote memorization. I’ve cultivated a space where curiosity reigns supreme and “stupid questions” simply don’t exist. Every inquiry, no matter how seemingly small, is an opportunity for deeper understanding. Open communication and mutual respect are cornerstones of my teaching philosophy, fostering a safe space where students feel empowered to ask, explore, and challenge themselves.

The journey from confusion to clarity, from apprehension to mastery, is what truly motivates me. Witnessing the “aha!” moments, the confidence boost with each conquered challenge, and the sense of accomplishment in my students’ eyes – these are the true rewards of being a tutor. It’s not just about imparting knowledge; it’s about igniting a love for learning, providing the tools for self-discovery, and cheering on every student as they carve their unique path toward academic success.

Whether you’re facing standardized test anxieties, navigating new subjects, or simply seeking academic support, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we can work towards unlocking your potential and transforming learning into a journey of empowerment and accomplishment.

    Hello my dear students,
I’m Dr.AYESHA RAHAMAN, I teach for subjects for studying at any Uni,entrance exams, interviews…
My teaching style is very unique ,…to understand the psychology of the student, make them efficient in the skill to get the answers, making it friendly so easy interesting that you have command of that subject,…that is my unique art… if u attend, u will be able to find it out…. The majesty & art of teaching. I love to conduct the class in interactive manner ,where students actively respond or participate in discussions, going deep into the topics they first, develop the concept how the ideas came, how they are applied in daily life and how much worthy to test the skill in any exam.
Secondly, to prepare with devotion the skill and knowledge and make them efficient.
Finally, to build the confidence level they feel they’re fully prepared for their goals, they can do by their own.
I take care at nourishing the weak areas and boosting confidence in any kind of intelligent or not so fast understanding student.
