Hello, I’m Ann 🙂 I am a third year medical student at the University of Sheffield. I undertook a gap year abroad and saw how medicine differs between countries and found it very eye opening. I am familiar with and enjoy tutoring different entrance exams like CASPER and the UCAT as well as Biology, EPQ and Psychology at A-level and a variety of GCSE subjects. I have also successfully completed entrance exams for medical schools in Bulgaria so have experience with those tests and can help with that too. I have been where you are and understand how stressful these different exams can be so I am here to help! My teaching style is very interactive and student based so you can get eveything you need from session. The goal is to make lessons informative and useful but also enjoyable and give you a better understanding about your chosen subject.

Hello aspiring veterinarians! 👋 I’m Zandra, a passionate final-year veterinary student who is currently involved in various roles in the industry. I am a vet nurse, pet sitter, and foster carer for different cat rescues. 🌟

As someone who has navigated the challenging journey of applying to different vet schools, I understand the excitement, uncertainties, and burning desire to stand out in the competitive field. Having successfully secured a place in vet school, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with interview panels and gaining insights into what they are truly looking for in prospective students.

My journey doesn’t stop there—I’ve been in your shoes, explored different clinics, and worked in diverse veterinary settings. This hands-on experience has given me a profound understanding of the qualities employers seek in potential hires and vet school admissions. From crafting a compelling personal statement to strategically applying for work experience, I’ve refined my expertise in the skill of presenting oneself effectively.

I am a graduate of Flinders University from its Doctor of Medicine program, currently enrolled in my Doctor of Philosophy. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.

I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.

The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.

I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well
