Hi! My name is Jamie and I’m a fourth year Physics and Philosophy student at Oxford University. I have pretty broad subject knowledge from the Maths, Science, and Philosophy sides of my degree. I also achieved 4 A*s at A-Level, and a clean sheet of A*s and 9s at GCSE. I spent a lot of time at school training for Maths Olympiads, especially the British Mathematical Olympiad, available only by invitation to top performers in the SMC.
I like to think that studying the Philosophy of Physics has given me exactly the skillset for tutoring: the subject revolves around clarifying and and explaining knotty problems in physics.
I’m a big believer that there are a few ‘easy wins’ in university applications that not many people know of and anyone can benefit from. My tutoring style focuses on these, and the principles behind how you approach problems, and not simply your knowledge — exactly what the interviewers will be looking for.

Hello I am Matthew and I am a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge!
At university, I studied Engineering at both undergraduate and Masters level, specialising in Information and Computer Engineering, and as a result, I am knowledgeable in the engineering, mathematics and physics fields, and of the admissions processes for both UK and US universities.
I can especially be of help for UK students attempting to learn the US admission process, having gone through it successfully but also come across common pitfalls that may occur due to the difference and lack of support.
As someone who tirelessly worked to understand the Cambridge Engineering admissions process and came out the other end of it, I can give a complete preparation for what it will entail: from entrance exams to subject specific preparation to interview practice.
I have had over two years of tutoring experience as well as countless years of mentoring experience, so I am well versed in teaching and mentoring students.
Hi there! My name is Jess Cullen, and I am a first class graduate in English Language and Literature from Balliol College, Oxford. Here, I was an exhibitionist and award winner at my college, while captaining the Blues football team. I loved my degree, and although I now work in the sports consulting space, tutoring English and supporting people in their love of the language is one of my greatest passions. In my spare time I love playing sport, guitar, and singing!
Before Oxford, I studied in Dubai and Australia. I sat A-levels, achieving an A*A*AA* in English, Spanish, Mathematics, and in my EPQ, in which I scored 100/100. Alongside this I have also sat the SAT, scoring a 1560, and took GCSEs gaining nearly all 9s (bar physics!). I applied to Oxford as an international student, so I know the ins and outs of the application system, and can support students applying for any subject by ensuring their personal statement reads well and ticks the necessary boxes.
