I completed an AS Level award in English Literature and A Levels in History, Psychology and Art and Design. I then achieved a 2:1 in BSc Applied Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University in 2014. In 2018, I successfully completed a PGCert from the University of Birmingham in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions, and in 2021 I qualified as a teacher of Art and Design.
I am a creative-thinking and motivated individual looking for a new challenge to broaden my horizons. I have previously worked as a psychological talking therapist, and I am also a qualified secondary teacher with extensive experience in schools; which has led me to my current role as an SEN tutor for adolescents who are refusing school attendance. My role is to provide them with the emotional support and encouragement needed to return to school, as well as helping them to learn and revise all curriculum material needed to pass their exams. I relish the opportunity to build positive relationships with others, as this is what motivates me, and I love to see meaningful changes which lead to bright futures; as a result of the work that myself and others have put in. I believe that in order to overcome any challenge, the first step is to identify the barriers to change. This requires the development of trusting relationships with students, as well as their parents and key staff members at their enrolled schools. Once these barriers are identified, we are able to collaboratively come up with a tailored plan to integrate students back into school.

Hello! I am Ruby, an artist, poet and English teacher from London.

I have three degrees; I hold a First Class degree in English Literature from King’s College, University of Cambridge, a Visual Cultures Masters from Goldsmiths and also a Master of Fine Arts.

I am a huge literary and poetry nerd and enjoy feeling out different close readings and linguistic terminology with students. I can help with essay writing, close reading and exam preparation.

I keep up to date with current trends in educational policy and examination styles. I have experience working with teenagers with SEND in secondary schools and am open to all neurodivergent/queer identities.

In my spare time, I am an avid reader of contemporary literature, I attend galleries, spend time in nature and go to the cinema. I have a deep passion for all things cultural and aim to inspire students to find their own creative drives.

I am an Architecture BA (Hons) graduate from the University of Cambridge with a strong academic background in STEM subjects and over five years of experience as a tutor. I have consistently enjoyed supporting students in building both subject confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

Alongside my studies, I have worked extensively as a private tutor and admissions instructor, supporting students across Maths, Physics and general academic skills. I have particular experience working with students preparing for Oxbridge, including personal statement feedback, interview preparation and guidance on structuring applications. I find this work especially rewarding as it allows me to help students translate their potential into tangible outcomes.

The majesty & art of teaching. I love to conduct the class in interactive manner ,where students actively respond or participate in discussions, going deep into the topics they first, develop the concept how the ideas came, how they are applied in daily life and how much worthy to test the skill in any exam.
Secondly, to prepare with devotion the skill and knowledge and make them efficient.
Finally, to build the confidence level they feel they’re fully prepared for their goals, they can do by their own.
I take care at nourishing the weak areas and boosting confidence in any kind of intelligent or not so fast understanding student.

Hello, my name is Sneha. I am a recent Master’s graduate in Sustainability with a strong passion for education and environmental science. I have gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant at De Montfort University, Leicester, where I supported Architecture Technology students in their coursework, provided guidance on practical projects, and assisted in delivering lectures and tutorials. Additionally, I have guided bachelor’s thesis projects for students in India, helping them develop research skills and critical thinking. I have also conducted interactive tutorials and taught Science, Biology, and Environmental Science to students across KS1, KS2, KS3, and GCSE levels, creating engaging lessons, fostering curiosity, and providing tailored academic support to enhance learning outcomes across diverse age groups.
