Hi, My name is Arshia Rahman. I am an experienced English teacher with over 15 years of experience in the field. I have taught in renowned schools in Kolkata, India. I specialise in English literature and language, history for secondary school and all subjects for primary school. I like to create engaging lesson plans,assessing student progress and fostering a positive learning experience. I am passionate about helping students improve their language skills and achieve their academic goals. I am also working as an operational trainer which is like an extension of my role as a teacher where i train or teach adults in my workplace the training required to to do their jobs. In my free time I enjoy reading a book or cooking. I have 2 kids aged 9 and 11. I love spending time with them. I also teach my children. I look forward to connecting with you and exploring potential opportunities for collaboration.
My teaching style
I utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including interactive activities, multimedia resources and personalised feedback. My approach emphasis student centered learning, encouraging active participation and critical thinking.

My Proudest Achievements
I had a hyper active student who could not concentrate for more than 15-20mins. With a lot of patience and persistence I taught with for 5 years. Today he is a software engineer and is very grateful to me for having faith in him.
