5About Me
I’m Zainab, and I am thrilled to connect with you. Teaching isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. I’m currently studying law at the University of Birmingham. I bring over 2 years of tutoring experience, and I’m eager to make the world of learning come alive for my students.
I was an IB student, graduating with 40/45, 776 in HL subjects (Business. Theatre, English). Along with my extensive knowledge in those subjects, I am also qualified in math as I have tutored math GSCE before which ended in my student receiving a 9. I graduated in 2022 so my IB knowledge is quite fresh making it easy for me to teach and easy for students to receive.
I feel as though I am a qualified tutor as I have helped students receive 7s in their desired subjects and I have an engaging way of teaching. I have a short attention span which made IB very difficult for me but I perceived, graduating with a high mark. If I can do it I know my students can too.
My teaching style
My teaching style alters with my students. I think it’s important for students to help me help them. I sometimes will try to have a variety of engaging activities as I know many students struggle to keep focus and repetition of the same activities often leads them to boredom. However, some students find comfort in having a pattern so with them I will plan a clear schedule for each lesson so they know what to expect. I believe its important to communicate and adapt with the student you’re working with inorder to make the most out of lessons.
