Hi, I’m Maverick, and I am thrilled to meet you!
I have achieved exceptional educational outcomes, and am excited to guide others towards similarly outstanding achievements.
I have taught across the world in numerous contexts, whether at my former school in Manchester, at schools in Italy, on the internet, or in-person, one-on-one.
I am particularly enthusiastic about one-on-one tutoring. Having worked with a wide variety of young personalities, I am confident in my ability to understand people on an individual level, and design my pedagogy around their behaviours and mannerisms. I am an extremely flexible and adaptable thinker. If my student is finding the material too simple, I will add in an extra element to the exercise to make it more challenging. Similarly, if a student is struggling with a task, I will work with them to break down the elements of that task.
My teaching style
My tutoring technique focuses on building confidence and skillsets. I do this with my sense of humour, and my kind, courteous mannerisms. I am monumentally grateful to my tutees for building strong, meaningful, and individual relationships with me. These meaningful relationships have stood the test of time, and I cannot wait to build new ones.

My Proudest Achievements
I have many proud achievements. I have gone viral in Kyrgyzstan for a spoken word performance. I achieved the highest mark at Cambridge in spoken Italian. Perhaps my proudest moment, however, was when I escaped war torn Russia just 24 hours after Putin declared war.
