3About Me
I’m a recent graduate from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Classics. I have a particular love of all things Classics, the language, the ancient world, archaeology. I provide my own resources for GCSE Latin students which are extremely useful for exams, with plenty of students achieving top grades from using them.
I have studied Latin for over 12 years, achieving a 9 at GCSE and an A at A Level. I also studied Classical Civilisation for A level, receiving an A*.
I am very passionate about the ancient world and have my own website where i write daily blogs about the latest news in archaeology, and have various social media pages encouraging people to engage in the ancient world a bit more. My teaching style
My teaching style adapts to the student and how they prefer to learn by I believe talking through exercises thoroughly and regular discussions work best. I prefer not to simply talk about something but actively do something alongside their learning, whether that it practicing or bouncing ideas.
My past experience
I don’t have any experience teaching Latin or Classical Civilisation, but i have experience teaching First Aid in the army cadets to big classes. I have also taught lessons in a few schools in Kenya, engaging them in activities they would have never experienced before.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is achieving my Grade 8 in Piano, something I am extremely passionate about.
