6About Me
Hi! My name is Kiran and I’m a medical student and having sat my A levels just over a year ago, I’m now enthusiastic about helping other people feel as prepared as possible to sit theirs! Whilst exams are by no means easy, if you’re looking for a friendly and supportive tutor to help you with them then look no further! I’m a firm believer in having sessions personalised to the individual so no matter the topic or the learning style, I’m happy to help and will tailor the sessions to your needs! The main thing to bear in mind when it comes to exams is that nothing is impossible and having constantly achieved good grades in my exams, I’m confident I’ll be able to help you do the same and am dedicated to helping everyone reach their full potential and achieve their goals !I also offer help for any and all aspects of medical school interviews and having received offers from all of the medical schools that I applied to, I feel I’m definitely the right person to come to if you want to do the same. My teaching style
My teaching style is making the session fun and relaxed but also making sure we cover all the necessary content and you leave every session feeling prepared and confident with the topic! I’m also always on hand to answer any questions you need as I genuinely want to make sure you feel happy and secure with any content covered so am always happy to help!I understand how hard certain GSCE and A Level topics/aspects of medical applications can be so I will always make the session engaging and most importantly specifically tailored to your needs and preferences to help you get the most from it!
My past experience
I’ve successfully tutored for medical school interviews, GSCE sciences and also A Level sciences before so I am experienced in doing all of these!I also acted as an interviews for a Mock MMI for medical and dental students and am also currently a mentor to multiple students going through the medical school application process and A Level process. I’ve also done outreach work at both secondary and primary schools(involving teaching pupils about various scientific topics) meaning I have experience in making even the most difficult concepts accessible for all.
My Proudest Achievements
Getting 4/4 medical school offers,getting a top 5% UCAT score, achieving all A*s in my GCSEs and A* A* A in my A Levels, being elected student rep for my university course 2 years in a row,being chosen to be a member of multiple school and university society committees, becoming the youngest NCS team mentor in my entire region.
