4About Me
I studied Law at Cambridge in 2017-20, graduating with a Triple First degree, and receiving prizes from the law faculty for gaining the highest mark in the university in Constitutional Law and Criminology, Sentencing, and the Penal System. I was also awarded numerous prizes and scholarships by Girton college for my academic performance, including the Arden prize, for the best performance across the three years among the lawyers in my cohort. I studied the BCL at Oxford in 2020-21, supported by the Crewe graduate scholarship, and a grant from the Scottish International Education Trust. I am currently studying the bar course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, supported by a Patrick Back scholarship from Gray’s Inn. I offer tutoring in all aspects of Oxbridge Law admissions: personal statement, LNAT, Cambridge Law Test, and interview preparation.
My teaching style
My approach to tutoring is to tailor sessions to students’ needs to ensure that they get exactly what they want out of sessions. To succeed in Law admissions for Oxbridge, it is important to read as widely as possible. I provide good reading recommendations and encourage students to explore different ideas and arguments. I provide detailed feedback on written work so that students know how to improve.
My past experience
I have tutored for the LNAT before, and currently teach several small group debate classes. I have also taught Law at a summer camp in China (2019), and have taught English as a second language at summer camps in Germany (2020) and China (2018). I taught English as a foreign language in a primary school and kindergarten in China for a semester in 2017.
My Proudest Achievements
I am very proud of achieving a First every year in my Cambridge exams, and of getting the highest mark in the university for Constitutional Law and Criminology, Sentencing and the Penal System.
Outside of academics, I am very proud of my DipABRSM Diploma in Musical Performance on violin.
