Getting into medical school is a mentally exhausting and gruelling process, students every year make many consequential yet very much avoidable mistakes which greatly hinder their application and prevent themselves from reaching the potential that they have, which is why it is so important to have someone that has been through it and done it to guide each student along the way and provide guidance and support. The application is very demanding and can be very emotionally draining as well as physically. Getting tutoring can help you feel less alone in the application process. As an international student, I had to compete with highly-capable, like-minded individuals across the globe for a small fraction of spots in each cohort (roughly 10-15 per uni) in a much larger pool of applicants.
