About Me
Hi I’m Johanna and I am a current first year medical student on the Graduate Entry Medicine course at Swansea. I previously studied Anthropology Bsc and Creative Health Masc at UCL in London.
I made the jump from a humanities background to Medicine and prepped for the GAMSAT, received full offers to interview at St George’s (SGUL), Swansea and Nottingham and received all of the offers post-interview. I know how daunting it can be to apply for Medicine, especially Graduate Entry where there is a lot more independent preparation, so I would be very happy to help anyone who is now embarking on this journey.
I am also happy to tutor in any of the subjects I have previously studied. If you have any questions or would like to know more please don’t hesitate to get in touch and good luck! Johanna 🙂
My teaching style
I like to encourage people to learn their own method to be able to achieve what they want so they can work independently and feel confident in future. I am also very flexible and happy to adapt to different learning styles.
My past experience
I have informal French tutoring experience for KS3 and GCSE. I also have informal medicine interview prep.
My Proudest Achievements
Prepping independently for the GAMSAT and interviews which resulted into getting into med school!
