Hello! I’m Evelyn, a medical student at Barts and the London! I am dedicated to helping students succeed.
With a strong background in Biology and Chemistry, I specialize in making complex topics clear and approachable. My teaching experience spans various levels, from tutoring GCSE Biology to simulating Medical MMI (Multiple Mini Interviews) for aspiring medical students. Moreover, I have led teaching sessions for medical school interviews to support younger students.
Over time, I have developed a keen understanding of the challenges students face in mastering these subjects, and I’m passionate about using innovative methods to facilitate learning. My teaching style
My tutoring approach is personalised and tailored to each student’s learning style, ensuring they gain extensive knowledge and confidence in the subject.
Whether you’re working towards interviews, GCSE/ A-Level preparation, or the UCAT, my goal is to help you build a solid foundation of knowledge, critical thinking, and confidence. Additionally, I aim to provide essential exam techniques (step-by-step explanations and practical problem-solving strategies) for ACING exams!
Overall, I intend to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I’ll adapt to your style and pace—no pressure, just support!
My past experience
In the past, I have tutored children weekly in Biology. Using visual diagrams and videos for easier understanding, I adapted my teaching to accommodate each student, such as avoiding complex A-level jargon with younger children.
I also led medical teaching sessions in front of aspiring medical students. In these sessions, I helped them with medical interview preparation and UCAT.
