About Me
Hello!
Initially, I found it extremely difficult to handle exams. But I learnt how to find my best methods and techniques that ultimately helped me go from a C grade student to an A*.
I would love to now help other students find their confidence and help achieve the best grades they can.
Currently I study Law in University. I got into university with A-Level Sociology, English Literature and English Language, subjects that I am intensely passionate about.
If you need A-Level Sociology support, I am more than happy to help push you to achieve A* quality writing through tutoring in essay writing and memorising as well as understanding relevant theories.
For GCSE English, I offer support for any struggling with essay writing, analysis of unseen texts, and creative writing skills.
Any questions or specific guidance is more than welcome and I look forward to tutoring you!
My teaching style
Personal 1-to-1 support, specific guidance for each individual student. Generally, I aim to do a walk through guidance on essay writing skills and structure, feedback sessions for essays completed within school, exercises to recall theories, and 1 small task per week post-session to reflect the content learnt within the tutor session.
My past experience
During A-Levels, I was an English Mentor who taught students year 8-11 every lunchtime on how to write English essays and how to analyse texts. I also taught the younger students how to plan and explore their creative writing skills.
