About Me

Hello- I am a 5th year medical student at Cardiff, I am originally from Brighton. I have some practise of UCAT and MMI interview tutoring through previous pupils as well as some tutoring experience from my old school. I am very happy to fit in with you and your timetable and happy for you to dictate how the sessions are to run.

I have a keen passion for sport and the outdoors, so not all medicine, I currently am president of the Medics Hockey club at Cardiff and a keen runner. I am also very happy to discuss different medical schools to help you decide where to apply.

I am also the daughter of a medic so have been around medicine my whole life- I know how it works and what to expect to some extent!!

I’m very excited to continuing to tutor on a regular basis along side my studies, I am now going into my second year as an MMI tutor and feel I have developed some very useful skills and techniques which can be varied depending on the learners needs.

Please reach out if you have any questions 🙂

My teaching style

My teaching style is a relaxed and fail-friendly environment, in which I will give you the chance to try the question/task and then we will talk through better answers or ways to tackle the question. I am also happy to be lead by you in the way you want the sessions to run and happy to run mock interviews or UCATs closer to the time.

My past experience

I have tutored both GCSE and A-level for science and geography. I am currently a tutor for the In2Med scheme which helps students get into medical school as well as doing some practise interviews with students from my old school.

My Proudest Achievements

I would say being the president of my university hockey club for two years alongside studying for medical school and managing to get a good balance between hockey, medicine as well as a social life and time to recharge.
