Asirini
About Me
Hello! My name is Asirini, but you can call me Srini! I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor currently in my final year studying Law at the University of Oxford, where I consistently rank at the top of my cohort. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of various subjects, and I have honed my tutoring skills across English, Mathematics, and A-Level Humanities, including Philosophy, Politics, Sociology, Criminology, and Religion.
In addition, I specialise in preparing students for the LNAT and teaching foundational legal subjects such as Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Contract Law, and Tort Law. What I cherish most about tutoring is the opportunity to foster my students’ confidence and ignite their curiosity about learning. I believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about inspiring a love for learning and empowering students to reach their full potential. I look forward to guiding you on your academic journey
My teaching style
My teaching style involves creating personalised study plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals. I balance structured lessons with a student-led approach, encouraging exploration of topics of interest. Each session begins with a clear aim, but I remain flexible, allowing us to delve deeper into areas that spark curiosity, much like the Oxford University tutorials I experience with my professors. This fosters a collaborative learning environment where students feel empowered to engage actively with the material. I believe that this approach not only enhances understanding but also makes learning enjoyable and relevant.
My past experience
I have three years of experience tutoring students for a variety of GCSE/National 5 and A-Level/Advanced Higher Subjects. I also have experience helping students with Oxbridge applications and two of my students have been offered places for law at Oxford University.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement was scoring the highest in my year at Magdalen College, Oxford, in first-year law exams (2022/23) and becoming an International Semi-finalist at the Jessup International Moot Court Competition (2023/24)
