About Me
Hello! My name is Anisha – I am 22 years old.
Currently I am a 4th year medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
I’m passionate about helping students thrive in their academic journeys, whether it’s deepening their understanding of a particular subject or navigating the path to higher education, including university.
Having successfully completed GCSEs, A-Levels, and four years of university exams so far, I understand the stress that revision can bring, which is why I am dedicated to supporting students by building on their strengths and addressing any knowledge gaps.
I utilise a friendly yet structured approach to create an environment that is both supportive and productive. Together, we can develop the skills needed to work towards academic goals.
Specifically interested to work with students that are applying to UK medical schools, including from widening participation backgrounds
My teaching style
Lessons range from 1-2 hours, tailored to each student’s preferences.
My teaching style combines interactive Q&A, quizzes, and practice exercises to engage students actively.
With experience as an international private tutor for students aged 11-18 in Australia, Singapore and the UK, I bring a compassionate, strengths-based approach that addresses knowledge gaps to build confidence.
As a student myself, I understand the challenges of finding effective, sustainable study techniques.
I’m committed to working collaboratively to set and achieve both short-term and long-term goals for success in assignments, exams, and deadlines.
My past experience
I have extensive experience in private tutoring, supporting students across various levels, including 11+, GCSE, IB, and A-Levels, in the UK, Singapore, and Australia. Additionally, I spent two years working at a tuition centre, where I developed and delivered tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs effectively.
