My name is Emma and I am a 17 year old who is currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics at the University of Glasgow. I am a friendly individual who spends my time socialising and hanging out with my friends. If I am not hanging out with my friends, I am either studying or relaxing by watching a movie. I am looking to share my passion for studying with students who are needing extra help with their studies. I would love to be able to help others achieve the best grade they possibly can. I am very patient and would love to help students achieve their goals. The main subjects which I am passionate about are Business Management, Biology, Psychology, Statistics, Chemistry, English and Philosophy. These have always been my strongest subjects as well as ones which I enjoy. I would love the opportunity to share my knowledge in these fields to students who are in need of assistance for their exams or in their general studies.
My teaching style
Going through information with the students and asking them questions on it. After this, I can focus on teaching the students the areas in which they are struggling with the most. I keep retesting them until I notice improvements in their knowledge as well as going over the information again to help them remember it better.
My past experience
Yes, I used to tutor somebody every week and brought their Business Management grade up from a D to a B within a short period of time.

Getting into University, achieving awards for my exam results, achieving job offers during the interview, completing my Nuffield STEM summer placement
