Hey! I am Ella, a 4th year medical student at Hull York Medical School, with an MSc in Global Mental Health. I am here to help guide you through the journey to applying to Medicine whether that be particular GCSE or A-Level topics, personal statement and interview preparation! I understand that thinking about applying to medicine can be overwhelming at times and I hope that together we can make the process easier for you and you can feel in control and happy with your options leaving you feeling prepared and confident. I am happy to offer mixed sessions if that is something you are interested in, where we can work on a few things throughout the hour or so. I had lots of questions when I was applying, and this is something I would have benefited from so much! Just get into contact if you have any questions. My teaching style
We can tailor the sessions to how you learn best. I like to begin by assessing your current level of understanding, and then we build on this foundation in a structured and engaging way. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts, ensuring that you not only grasp the theory but also understand how to apply it in real-world scenarios—especially useful for those considering a career in medicine. My aim is to develop your critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence, so you feel fully prepared for both exams and future challenges
