About Me
I am a 4th-year medical student studying at Nottingham on a GEM course. This is my third degree with a master’s in public health and an undergraduate degree in medical science at Exeter University. Before I tutored I was a nanny and did homework help for the children. When I started my degree I began tutoring on a range of topics including GCSE and A-level biology, GAMSAT, and medical school interview preparation and have continued doing this since. I really enjoy tutoring which is why I have continued this whole time. My previous students who informed me of their results have all achieved their desired grades which I am always very pleased by. Outside of my degree, I enjoy ice skating and climbing and do both when I have free time. I really enjoy tutoring and am looking forward to working with you soon.
My teaching style
My teaching style is very varied but could be described as hybrid teaching. Teaching activites I use include previous questions, worked examples, and interactive activities to engage the student. I do vary the types of teaching depending on the student’s wants and needs.
My past experience
I have tutored for 3 years now on a range of topics. I have tutored GCSE and A-level biology, GAMSAT, and medical school interview preparation. My previous students who informed me of their grades have all achieved their desired grades.
