Hi! I’m Katherine and currently a final year medical student at Cardiff University. Having nearly completed the entire journey through medical school – from GCSEs/A-levels to medical school entrance exams/interviews and all through to medical school finals as well as an additional Biomedicine degree – I am a veteran in balancing academic pressure, practising efficient revision techniques and making time for socials and wellbeing!
The past 6 years at University have simultaneously been the best and hardest of my life, and whilst true medicine is academically challenging, the secret truly lies in managing your time well. Alongside my degrees, I have also joined and held committee roles in Cardiff Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Society and Cardiff Medics Squash.
I am here to help guide through assignments, exams, academic stress, entrance to medical school – with a particular interest in Cardiff medical school interviews – and to provide a realistic viewpoint of life at medical school.
I would love this opportunity to share all the academic experience I have gained throughout my time at school and University with you. Whether it be entrance tests, exams, university interviews, personal statements – I am more than happy to help guide and balance students through academic pressures.
