Amirreza
About Me
I am amirreza, currently in my fourth year of studying Medicine and Surgery. I would like to share some aspects of my academic journey and experiences that I believe align with your esteemed institution’s values and aspirations.
My academic path at the University of Padua has been marked by active participation and a strong commitment to my fellow students. As the official representative of the entire Medicine and Surgery Course in English, I have had the privilege of assisting my peers with their academic and personal challenges. My role extended to providing valuable tutoring, enabling them to grasp complex course materials more effectively.
Additionally, I have been an integral part of the Padua Medical Council, where I collaborated closely with professors and council members. Our collective efforts have contributed to curriculum enhancements and the organization of elective courses like emergency medicine. Moreover, I actively participated in the admission process for new students, helping to shape the future of our program.
As a tutor, both within and outside the university, I have channeled my passion for becoming a doctor into guiding others. My dedication to understanding the material on a profound level is fueled by my belief that one day, this knowledge will enable me to save lives. For now, my greatest joy lies in assisting aspiring medical students in achieving their dreams of gaining admission to medical school. Together, we can make a significant difference.
Furthermore, I take pride in consistently ranking as a top student in my course. This reflects my unwavering commitment to excellence in my studies.
Beyond academia, I am an enthusiastic voluntary member of the Red Cross, where I have the opportunity to contribute to humanitarian causes and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Warm regards,

My teaching style
Active Learning: Encourage students to actively engage with the material rather than passively absorbing information. Some effective active learning techniques include Problem-Based Learning (PBL) as much as the material allow me , Another approach involves initiating the teaching process by presenting the overarching idea in a clear and straightforward manner, gradually delving into the finer details step by step. Additionally, we make frequent use of mind maps for comprehensive review whenever possible. Furthermore, after each section, we make sure that students receive a useful summary of all the key concepts covered in the course.
My past experience
“Yes, I am a part of the tutor body at the University of Padova, where I assist fellow students. Additionally, I also work as an online tutor for biology, biochemistry, and chemistry outside of the university.”
My Proudest Achievements
“I come from a humble and caring family background where I lacked a formal mentor. My high school education was focused on the arts, with minimal exposure to basic sciences. However, my true passion for medicine emerged during my service in the military.
With almost no prior knowledge in the sciences, I embarked on a self-directed journey to prepare for the medical school entrance exam. It took me three years of relentless day and night studying to achieve my goal: admission to a medical school in my home country. Although I gained entry, I found that the university wasn’t the right fit for me.
Determined to follow my dream, I decided to prepare for the IMAT exam to study medicine in Italy. After one more years of intensive study, during which I grappled with ADHD, I secured a place at one of Europe’s finest and oldest medical schools. This achievement was not just a personal triumph but a historic milestone in my family, as I became the first doctor in my lineage since the time of Jesus Christ..hahahahaha
The joy I brought to my parents’ hearts with this accomplishment is my proudest achievement. After moving to Italy, I extended my hand to help three friends from my home country prepare for the same medical school entrance exams, and I’m deeply proud that all of them were accepted. Knowing that I played a role in bringing smiles to their faces fills me with immense pride and happiness.”
