7About Me
Hello! My name is Kayinsola and I’m a recent Human Social and Political Sciences graduate from the University of Cambridge. I have tutored a range of different students from English at 11+ and KS3 level, to taking students through the Oxbridge and general university admissions process. Not only this but I have also recently been a trainee English teacher teaching English as a foreign language in Thailand over the summer, whilst working on the TESOL qualification.
I completed my GCSE’s with A*s (9 grade 8s and 1 grade 9 in History) and I also achieved A*A*A in Economics, English Literature and History respectively, despite the challenges of COVID. I relish working with multiple age groups and people of different backgrounds. Therefore, I hope to make any university application process or revision period for exams less stressful or overwhelming. I hope to assist in getting you accepted into your dream university. I look forward to meeting you!
My teaching style
I always put the student and their needs first, so I tailor each session accordingly in order to prioritise this. When going through and issue or encountering a problem, I walk students through each step of the problem being able to brainstorm and help them understand the root of the concept so that they can apply what I’ve shown them in future problems even when I am not around. I am a big believer in simplifying complex topics in a way that everyone can understand.
