Hello! I’m a third-year veterinary student with a passion for science and helping students succeed.
I offer tutoring in A-Level and GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and am committed to making complex topics clear and engaging. Having achieved top marks myself, I understand the dedication and hard work required to excel in these subjects.
My experience as a vet student gives me a unique insight into the application of scientific principles, which I can bring into our sessions to make learning more practical and relatable. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or need extra help to build confidence, I offer tailored sessions that focus on your individual needs. I’ll guide you through key concepts, exam techniques, and revision strategies, all in a supportive and approachable environment.
My teaching style
My teaching style is focused on tailoring lessons to suit each student’s unique learning needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to match their pace and preferred method of understanding. I prioritize making sure students feel confident with the core principles before moving on to more advanced material. I’m patient and approachable, providing clear explanations and encouraging open communication to ensure there’s no confusion. My goal is to build both knowledge and confidence, so students not only understand the content but feel empowered to apply it in exams and real-world scenarios.
My past experience
I tutored 1st year biology students whilst studying for my A-Levels and have been included in many sessions with veterinary applicants helping them with their applications, with every student I tutored getting an offer from 1 or more universities
My Proudest Achievements
I’m incredibly proud of my achievements, which reflect my dedication and passion for learning. One of my proudest moments was successfully gaining a place at veterinary school, which required hard work and perseverance. I also completed my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), earning an A for my project—one of the top grades in my class. My work was even used as an example for future students, which was a great honor. Additionally, I completed my A-Levels, achieving an A* in Biology, a subject I’m deeply passionate about. These experiences have shaped me into a disciplined, focused learner, and I’m excited to share that knowledge with others!
