3About Me
Hey! My name is Jonathan, I achieved 7 Grade 9 Qualifications at GCSE, this includes Maths and Further Maths. I also achieved Grade A in Maths at A-Level. Due to my understanding in these subjects, I love helping other who may struggle in these areas, I am always willing to help my peers with understanding and knowledge throughout my education. I feel that anyone who has the ability to help someone else should. I want to help others in any way that I can and I feel that providing my knowledge in this form is the best way. I like to focus on understanding the basics first, this is so important to be able to develop a deeper understanding and knowledge. I hope that I can help lessen some of the burden workload that is felt throughout GCSE and A-level studies and provide support to those who find themselves struggling in certain areas of knowledge.
My teaching style
I emphasise a large focus on retaining knowledge, therefore I always start with starter questions from previous topics to prevent students from forgetting certain methods or information. I then always teach new knowledge at the pace of my students before testing their knowledge with appropriate practice questions given how well they have understood the topic so far.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement in education has to be when I outperformed my predicted GCSE grades.
