Hi, I’m Ankita Chaturvedi, a third-year medical student passionate about education and mentorship. With years of experience delivering lectures on complex topics like the urinary system and health psychology, mentoring students through peer programs, and leading revision workshops, I’ve honed my ability to simplify challenging material and tailor learning to individual needs.
Beyond medicine, I’ve developed strong communication skills through debate, Model United Nations, and leadership roles in university societies. My research experience, including projects on bicuspid valve disease and forensic taphonomy, has sharpened my critical thinking and academic rigor, which I integrate into my teaching.
As a tutor, I create an engaging and supportive environment to empower students to excel academically and grow in confidence.

Yes, I have extensive experience in teaching and tutoring across various settings. As a third-year medical student, I’ve delivered lectures on topics like the urinary system, health psychology, and diversity, helping peers grasp complex material. I’ve also mentored younger students through the Medical Peer Learning Program and as part of the “peer mentoring” initiative, guiding them through challenging concepts, exam preparation, and effective study techniques.
Outside of medicine, I’ve led workshops, participated in debate and Model United Nations, and held leadership roles in societies, enhancing my ability to communicate and teach effectively. These experiences have equipped me to simplify difficult topics, adapt to different learning styles, and create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements include conducting research on bicuspid valve disease through the HYRS program and delivering impactful lectures and workshops to help students excel. Additionally, I’ve held leadership roles such as Secretary of the MedTech and AI Society and Social Secretary of my university’s Badminton Club, where I organized events and mentored peers. Winning awards in debate and Model United Nations further highlights my communication skills. These accomplishments reflect my dedication to academic excellence, teaching, and leadership.
