About Me
I am an undergraduate student at Imperial college London studying Aeronautical Engineering. i received offers from Imperial, Bristol, Bath and Warwick. I have a few years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with both GCSE and A levels and enjoy tutoring. At A level I took maths, further maths, physics and chemistry and achieved A*s in all of those subjects. I need to find a job right now to support myself as a uni student and tutoring allows me to earn money whilst doing something I enjoy. I tutor online and can do 1 hour or 2 hour sessions a week. My style of tutoring involves teaching content and then using that knowledge to tackle exam questions in order to develop the right techniques. I also like to take assessments after every module I teach to ensure the student is making progress and on track with what is required.
My teaching style
I will start by spending a few minutes on any problems with homework questions. Homework that I set scales up from easy to hard difficulty and usually the final few questions require a lot of thought. I go through this with the student and allow them to develop their problem solving skills. Then I teach content for 30-40 minutes and spend the remaining time on questions. Solving questions together is the best form of content application.
My past experience
Yes I have been tutoring for a few years now.
