6About Me
My name is Anmol and I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of Cambridge and have completed my Masters in Computer Science from Imperial College London. I have 4 years of experience tutoring TMUA, MAT, STEP, A-level Maths and A-level Further Maths. I also have extensive experience helping with the University admissions process, providing mock interviews and personal statement help. I have helped over 20 students achieve Oxbridge offers and achieve their grades. This extensive experience allows me to quickly understand where students can improve and what topics may be best to focus on. I also created the TMUA and MAT notes for StudyMind and have expert insight into the resources. I personally did A-level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics and achieved 4A*s and sat the TMUA and STEP exams where I got a 7.2 and Grade 1 respectively.
My teaching style
I tend to adapt my teaching method based on the student but usually involves making sure initially the student understands all the key concepts for the particular topic and then trying lots of examples of the different type of questions which can come up for that topic. For entrance exams where exam technique is key, I really like to focus on the common tips and tricks of the exams and typical types of questions which come up.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements would be securing an offer to study at the University of Cambridge and achieving the King Edward’s scholarship award
