About Me
Hi! I’m Aditi, and I’m currently on an economics degree apprenticeship program with the UK Civil Service. I also applied to university and had offers to study economics at King’s College London, the University of Bristol, as well another degree apprenticeship offer with the Bank of England. All these programs were extremely competitive (my course only accepts 60 applicants out of 15,000 every year) and I have first hand experience of the hard work it takes to secure places on such post-18 pathways. It’s never too early to start, and I want to help my students achieve their own dreams and goals. I also want to help them build the work ethic and resilience it takes to succeed, whether that be through subject tutoring or wider interview/application help. I’m excited to meet you and get started!
My teaching style
My teaching style is centered around the student. I am flexible in my approach and adapt to the student’s needs to ensure our lessons are as effective as possible. I am organised and always plan to make sure the student’s subject foundations are secure before moving on to more exam-practice to build their confidence and boost their grades.
My past experience
I have a lot of past experience with both tutoring as well as working with kids. I worked part-time as a sports coach for two years, and I have tutored on and off for about the last 5 years in a variety of subjects such as Maths, Economics, and English.
My Proudest Achievements
Some of my proudest acheivements are my academic results. I received 11 grade 9s at GCSE and A*A*A*A at A-level, part of which I received 60/60 on my EPQ. I was also incredibly proud to be accepted on to my degree apprenticeship program, and be nominated for Apprentice of the Year in my first year.
