We streamline convenient arrangements for our international students located overseas, comprising 70% of our student body. Our services include pick-up from Heathrow airport to the accommodation, where a member of the Study Mind team will welcome you. If required, we will also coordinate transportation back to your departure terminal.

We suggest this course for individuals aged 14-25, encompassing students in Year 9 or above and graduate entry applicants.

Once reserved, the Future Architects Experience week is non-refundable due to meticulous planning, including accommodation and room reservations. Safety is a top priority during our Future Architects Experience week. Your child will be accompanied by the Study Mind Safeguarding team for any necessary travel, including a 30-minute train journey to and from the accommodation to the hospitals/hospice, ensuring full assistance throughout.

You'll be accommodated in single rooms at UCL Accommodation, complete with breakfast and dinner. Your stay will commence from Sunday night (the day before the course) until the last day of the course (Friday), spanning a total of six nights. The facilities are equipped with 24/7 security, and our Study Mind staff, trained in first aid and safeguarding, will be on hand to offer assistance. Additionally, airport pick-up arrangements can be organised for your convenience.

Students participating in the Future Architects Experience in the UK will need to obtain a Standard Visitor visa, accessible through https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor.

The visa application, priced at £100, should be submitted by parents/guardians via the UK Gov website. When applying for the visa, you can designate our course and Study Mind as the guardians of under-18s, providing the course information and booking confirmation.

We recommend booking flights before applying for the visa, as proof of a return flight is required (the course end date might be sufficient, but this could lead to rejection).

All staff members undergo rigorous DBS enhanced checks and comprehensive training in first aid and safeguarding. The summer school programme spans five days, kicking off at 9 am and usually wrapping up around 3:30 pm daily. Nevertheless, you will receive a comprehensive timetable in advance with specific timings.
