About Me
Hi,
My name is Holly and I am a first year medical student at Deakin University. As someone who knows how challenging the medicine application process can be, I am passionate about helping people gain entry into medical school.
I have undertaken my Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences where I achieved a GPA of 7. During this degree, I discovered my passion for applying what I know about the human body to assist people to live the best life they can. Through this degree, I learnt valuable lessons in team work, communication and empathy. These are skills I believe helped me gain entry into medical school.
I have experience in both the GEMSAS application systems and rural pathway applications. I have experience sitting both a general and rural pathway MMIs. I would be excited to pass this information on to prospective students.
I look forward to working with you.
My teaching style
As a person who is new to tutoring I am open to various teaching styles. I’m happy to work through specific content with students or assist them with answering practice questions. I’m open to running both individual and group sessions.
My past experience
I was involved in many leadership positions in the past, so I have experience explain concepts to people.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest is gaining entry to medical school on my first attempt. But above this, one of the things I am most proud of is the fact that I am living a life beyond what I could of imagined.
